We are currently looking to hire a front desk receptionist for a busy family practice/ walk in clinic located in scenic West Vancouver on the corner of 19th St & Marine Drive. Previous experience in a medical or healthcare-related office would be preferable, but is not required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- a quick learner
- customer service /Patient care oriented
- administrative experience
- multilingual is an asset as we care for a variety of patients with different backgrounds
- cool, calm, and collected in high pressure/stress situations
- out going, friendly, and flexible
- comfortable being around sick/ injured people
DUTIES:
- greeting patients, registration, preparation and maintenance of patients medical records
- collect fees, schedule patients for appointments
- preparing examination rooms
- sterilize instruments daily using autoclave
- scanning documents into patient EMR
- assisting doctors as needed
- maintaining inventory and replenishing when necessary
- familiarity with Oscar EMR is an asset
Wage: $15 - $17/HR to start, depending on experience.
